Plant Update

Hello all that have somehow discovered this blog, get back to your life and ignore my online presence. Just wanted to make an update of how my plant is doing. So proud I haven't killed it yet!

A quote I thought would go well with these pictures would be "From humble beginnings comes great things." (author unknown)

Halloween Photoshop Fun

Well I sure had fun this Halloween!
As a project in my photography class I learned how to black out a persons eyes in photoshop and thus this little gem was born. Here's a tutorial , the guy who talks in this tutorial is pretty legit, not boring at all, as exemplified by my not sleeping through it. Hope you enjoy the rest of your holidays!

Here is the result.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Tis the year of 2015, and I'd thought I might as well share some good news. So on a lone Saturday a while back, I bought an old polariod, yes that is correct spell check, for $2.00 at this thrift store I had volunteered at that day.

the Photo leaning against my sexy camera is my friend and I.
That was the first photo I took with this camera. :)

I thought it was supercool since I have grown up in the era of selfies and filters. The idea of having a photo printed as soon as you can take it was just astounding to me, so after some research on the great Youtube, I was ready to buy film. As a summary, the film a polaroid camera requires is 20+ dollars because it contains the battery for the polariod camera and the picture themselves are an instant chemical reaction for the general public, and that's bound to cost you. I am going to try my best to not make it a hobby since only 8 photo's are in one box.

WARNING: POLARIOD CAMERA'S ARE AN EXPENSIVE HOBBY. $3 DOLLARS PER EVERY PHOTO. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
